Scarce Straight Black Ink Trans-Mississippi StampT52 $10 1862 PF-9 Cr. 373. Trans-Mississippi Stamp.
An example of the scarce straight Trans-Mississippi stamp printed in black ink with a February 1864 date. The stamp is well printed. PMG Choice Fine 15 Net, with pieces missing listed as the reason for the net grade. The upper left corner is missing and there is a small area of paper loss at the top margin. The note has more eye appeal than the grade might imply. A rare Trans-Mississippi stamp that should attract a number of competing bidders.
