According to the New York Times, "Blanton Duncan's lithography establishment contained twenty-four presses at present (August 15, 1862) and six others are shortly expected from Paris. The workmen have been imported as well as the machinery and it is expected that soon the establishment will be able to turn out 200,000 notes of various denominations daily.
