DescriptionT44 $1 1862 PF-1 Cr. 339.
A lovely example of the Confederacy's first $1 denomination. The first printings included a green protector for which the government made clear it would not pay. As a result, the protector was removed and the remaining notes, like this example, were printed without it. Choice About Uncirculated, with a paper pull on the back likely caused by removal of a previous mounting.
