    T41 $100 1862.
    The back of this T41 includes several rubber stamped notations, including "-WRITE TO- / J.H. CHILDREY, 1722 MAIN ST., RICHMOND, VA, / -FOR- / CONFEDERATE MONEY, STAMPS, BONDS, COINS &c." In addition to T41 notes, T22, T40, T42 and T68 notes are also known with his stampings. Childrey stamped notes from several different states as well. This note also has a "JAN. 14 1863 ISSUED FROM ASSTTREAS.OFF. JACKSON, Miss." stamp and an interest paid stamp from Richmond. Fine with small tears and folds at the margins.
