    The vignettes on this Confederate $100 with the 186 of the date printed include slaves working in a cotton field, a portrait of Calhoun, and Confederacy personified. This example was printed on watermarked paper with CSA in script letters. The back includes a handwritten notation in black ink, "Issued Jackson Oct 11/1862." Interest paid stamps from Augusta and Columbia are also noticed on the back. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
