    Description

    T41 $100 1862.
An attractive note, graded PMG Very Fine 25, printed on watermarked paper with CSA in block letters. The note has more eye appeal than the grade might suggest. Two John Boston Depository circular rubber-stamped notations are seen side by side on the back, with approximately 90% of one printed on the paper and all of the other one visible. Below those, a handwritten notation is seen that reads "Issued April 6/63" and it is signed by James B. Brown. He was a Major in the Quartermaster's Department of the Provisional Confederate Army. For additional information, please see page 30 of McNeil's Confederate Issuers of Train and Hoer Notes.
