Six of the notes are fully framed, while all seven examples sport dark inks, premium paper quality, and three Augusta interest paid to rubber stampings on the back. Two of the T41s weigh in at Gem New 65PPQ, a third Very Choice New 64PPQ, a fourth Choice New 63PPQ, a fifth New 62PPQ, and the sixth and seventh share the grade of Choice About New 58PPQ. Part of a cache of notes that spent the Civil War in the strong box of a wealthy Augusta, GA planter by the name of William Nathaniel Mercier.
