This example has a completely handwritten date of "Aug. 26, 1862" and is printed on paper watermarked CSA in script letters. The bottom margin is wide enough to show a slice of the following note. This $100 that resided in Augusta is also missing an IP stamp for 1864. PCGS grades this note Extremely Fine 45. We are offering two examples of this variety in this auction - equal to the 2014 estimate of the number of notes known for the variety.
