A well-circulated example that had a second life two decades after the war, this note has the "Lost Cause" poem printed on the back, along with an ad for the Confederate Knapsack, apparently a Confederate veterans publication printed in New Orleans, LA. The holder was entitled to a one-year subscription commencing September 1, 1884. Very Good, with the usual assortment of small defects such as nicks, small tears, and heavier folds.
