One of the first notes of this design issued, with a completely handwritten date of August 26, 1862, this note was issued on September 6, 1862 (manuscript "Issued" written in front of a round Charleston postmark stamp) and bears three black IP stamps from Fayetteville, NC (1863) and Wilmington, NC (1864 and 1865). PMG grades this note Choice Extremely Fine 45.
