They include a one word endorsement, "Woods," that recent research has tied to Colonel Peter Cavanaugh Woods, Commanding Officer of the 36th Texas Cavalry Regiment; a manuscript entry that the note was issued in San Antonio, TX on May 12, 1863; and a manuscript entry, in a different hand, that shows interest had been paid to January 1, 1864.
