DescriptionT41 $100 1862 PF-13 Cr. 321A.
This example carries the seldom-seen "J Whatman 1862" watermark. The paper was imported from Britain in 1862, evading the Union blockades in order to make it to the printer in Virginia. Only one note out of an eight-note sheet would have this watermark, which is quite visible on this moderately circulated example. Very Fine, with a few scattered pinholes and minor staining on the back.
