This note was originally processed on October 29, 1862, and issued to the field by John Boston, Depositary in Savannah on January 1, 1863 (his partial round stamp appears on the back). The note is printed on CSA block letter watermarked paper and also has two scarcer Tallahassee interest payment stamps for 1864 and 1865. The note is Uncirculated and fully framed but has been pasted into a scrapbook at some point in its life, leaving some remaining light glue stains on the back. This example still faces up very well.
