These two notes are one serial number apart (although from different plates) and pretty clearly were issued together and stayed together through at least 1864, as both notes have the same "Woods" endorsement and were issued on the same date, December 2, 1862, and had interest paid with the same IP stamp in 1863 and with the same manuscript entry in 1864. The notes grade Very Fine and Extremely Fine.
