DescriptionT41 $100 1862 PF-11 Cr. 319A.
McNeil's reference on Train and Hoer notes includes information about John Boston, a collector at Savannah. The illustration in his book includes a pen inscription by John Boston. This beautiful and fully embossed note features an "Issued by John Boston Deposit" stamp on back, as well as two Macon interest payment stamps. Felix Senac's signature as "Paymaster" appears on the back as well making this a significant piece. The paper quality appears to be Gem, though the margin at top is a little tight for the grade. PMG Uncirculated 62.
