DescriptionT41 $100 1862 PF-10 Cr. 315A.
Interest was finally paid on this note in 1865 as evidenced by the black IP stamp (usually associated with Texas) on the back that has been changed from 1864 to 1865, with the final digit of the year being changed by pen from "4" to "5." The note grades Very Fine, with a chunk out of the upper left margin where an ink splatter eroded. Also of interest is the tougher-to-locate Nov. 3, 1862 date penned in red ink.
