DescriptionT41 $100 1862 - Felix Senac Paymaster.
A great Fricke PF-12 note due to its scarce issuer. First, the back has an interest paid Charleston statement of January 1, 1864. Also, in red ink is a penned "Issued Feb. 23, 1863 Felix Senac Paymaster" statement. Floridian Senac was in the Confederate Navy and in 1863 was stationed in Atlanta. He had been a paymaster in the United States Navy before the war. After Atlanta, Senac served abroad during the years 1863-65. This is just the second time that we have offered a Senac issued note. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
