Cache of Consecutively Numbered NotesT41 $100 1862 (4) PF-16 (2); PF-22 (2) Cr. 320 (2); Cr. 320A (2).
These four notes, printed on paper watermarked CSA in script letters, apparently remained together throughout the war. Each note bears the same black two line IP stamp, normally associated with use in Texas, that paid interest to January 1, 1864. The notes are consecutively numbered and are separated by only two numbers from another group of five notes offered in this sale. Interestingly two distinct plate varieties are represented in these four notes. All of the notes grade About Uncirculated or Better with minor handling or small corner folds.
