DescriptionT40 $100 1862 PF-5 Cr. 300.
A closer look at this note reveals why it is so collectible. First, it was issued by Civil Agent John Boston on Sep. 20, 1862 and again by C.F. Stubbs Commissary Agent, CSA on Dec. 1, 1862. A little ink erosion is found in the month penned by Boston and there are also some repairs near the milkmaid's right shoulder, at the lower left corner, and underneath Walston's signature.
