    Unusual IP annotation - Interest paid to April 20, 1864

    T40 $100 1862 PF-3 Cr. 302 Very Fine-Extremely Fine.
    This note has a conventional black IP stamp paying interest to January 1, 1863 and a manuscript entry paying interest to January 1, 1864 on the back. An additional manuscript entry was made, paying interest to April 20, 1864. This was last entry was then crossed out, apparently voiding the payment. No further interest was paid on this note. The note shows minor evidence of previous mounting on the back in the upper left corner.
