DescriptionT40 $100 1862 PF-1 Cr. 298. Issued at Little Rock, AR.
A lightly handled note issued at Little Rock, AR, as evidenced by the bold notation in black ink on the back dated Dec 26th 1862. PCGS has included that fact on the holder. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first example of a Little Rock note that we have offered, and our estimate may well be exceeded. An "INTEREST PAID TO 1 JANUARY, 1863" stamp is also seen on the back. A portion of plate engraver A. Cannaman's name is noticed within the wide right margin. PCGS Apparent About New 50, with ink erosion at the bottom margin cited as the reason for the apparent grade.
