Description

    T40 $100 1862 Consecutive Pair.
An interesting consecutive pair, the second note bears a plate engraver's name in the right margin that appears to be McDonald. A tiny portion of the name is also visible on the first note. Both notes have a handwritten "Issued Jackson Oct. 22 1862" notation in black ink on the back. The respective grades are PCGS Very Fine 35 and PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40, with a small edge tear at top left of center cited as the reason for the apparent grade. The notes were signed by J.M. Kinney and H.C. Williams.
