DescriptionT39 $100 1862.
This is an interesting bogus back with the green ink overlaying the genuine 1863 and 1864 interest paid stamps and the hand-written "July 28/62 John Boston Col(lector)." Notes like these have been studied extensively with a microscope at 5000x magnification by respected Confederate researcher Michael McNeil and we greatly appreciate the research he has shared with collectors in his recent book. Extremely Fine-About Uncirculated with a small hole at top center and plate printer name of "Cammann" in the left margin.
