Description

    T39 $100 1862.
PMG included a notation on the back that this note is a PF-13 and they assigned a grade of PMG About Uncirculated 53. This straight steam example has a number of appealing qualities- Captain Nathaniel O. Tilton of Georgia issued this note on Aug. 7, 1862; plate engraver Amendt's name is completely visible within the wide right margin; and two attractive interest paid stamped notations in red ink from Macon are observed on the back along with one in black ink from Savannah.
