DescriptionT39 $100 1862.
This Train note spent a considerable amount of time in South Carolina as there are two stamps from Charleston and one from Columbia. There are very few actual folds on this note but one which is rife with problems. Some pencil notations are seen on the back but there are a few pieces missing or tears with some light staining and ink erosion thrown in for good measure. A far better note than what the description would indicate but at least you do get a couple of the small pieces that came separated from this piece of Confederate history. Very Fine.
