DescriptionT39 $100 1862.
Graded PMG Very Fine 20, this note has a busy back full of all types of interesting handwritten notations and rubber-stamped information. The handwritten notation states the note was "Issued July 5 1862" by John Boston. He was a Civil Agent as explained in detail in the McNeil reference. Below Boston's signature is a rubber-stamped issued notation dated Oct. 27th, 1862 by N.B. Brown who was a Military Agent, Capt. & AQM. Three interest paid rubber-stamped notations are also seen. In addition to the frequently encountered Savannah stamp, there are also Macon and Columbus stamps. A great note sure to find an exceptional new home.
