    Description

    T39 $100 1862 PF-5 Cr. 290.
This is an interesting bogus back with the green ink overlaying the genuine 1863 and 1864 interest paid stamps and the hand-written "July 28/62 John Boston Col(lector)." Notes like these have been studied extensively with a microscope at 5000x magnification by respected Confederate researcher Michael McNeil and we greatly appreciate the research he has shared with collectors in his recent book. PMG About Uncirculated 50 Net, with minor evidence of a previous mounting.
