    T39 $100 1862 PF-5 Cr. 290.
    This is an example of the first interest bearing $100 note to be issued in large quantities by the Confederacy. It was issued On October 2nd, 1862 by Confederate Depositary agent James Sorley who operated out of Galveston and is signed in red ink. Sorley was also a collector of customs. PMG Very Fine 25 Net due to stains and being previously mounted.
