Description

    T39 $100 1862 PF-4 Cr. 293.
The A plen is elongated on this variety that grades Very Fine. A manuscript entry by W.T. Goodwin, Deputy Collector at Savannah, GA indicates that the note was issued to the field on August 11, 1862 and never strayed far from there, with two additional black Savannah IP stamps paying interest to January 1, 1863 and 1864. There is another stamp of some kind that is too muddled to discern its purpose and a collector annotation noting the type on the back as well.
