DescriptionT39 $100 1862 PF-13 Cr. 296.
A red validation date of 31363 appears on this note that has a manuscript issuance endorsement on the back by Thaddeus Sanford (probably from Mobile, AL) dated September 22, 1862. This note traveled a bit, having an unknown 1863 IP stamp as well as 1864 Columbus, MS and 1865 Augusta, GA IP stamps. Very Fine, with a bit of ink erosion in the Sanford endorsement on lightly toned paper.
Estimate: $100 - $200.
