Description

    T39 $100 1862 - J(ames) T. Miller Depositary.
An interesting Fricke PF-14 note with the back reading left to right starting with a penned endorsement of "Sept 24/62 Parker & Hancock." The next endorsement is "Oct. 16/62 T.M.K." The third is "Issued this 4th day of September 1862 J(ames) T. Miller Depositary." Miller's post was Wilmington, North Carolina and this is the first note that we offered with his issue statement. Interest paid statements for January 1, 1863; 1864; and 1865 round out this historic Confederate note. PMG Very Fine 30.
