    San Antonio, Texas T41 $100 1862 PF-6 Cr. 319.
A well preserved PCGS Gem New 65PPQ Trans-Mississippi C-note that was reissued at San Antonio as the manuscript endorsement of April 1, 1863 will attest to. This is the highest graded San Antonio issued Confederate note that we ever been able to auction. It is fully framed and easily exhibits premium paper quality through the third party holder. This example has other information on the back including being originally issued in Jackson and interest paid to both January 1, 1863 and January 1, 1864. A great piece that was able to survive the crossing of the Mississippi River and the long trip to San Antonio in uncanny Gem condition.
