    Captain and Assistant Quartermaster Danner was captured at Vicksburg and quickly paroled. Later, he served in the Battle of Atlanta campaign. The end of the war saw him captured and paroled at Meridian, Mississippi on May 11, 1865. "J.M. Kinney & H.C. Williams" stated on the back label are the signers found on the face of the note.
