DescriptionJohn Boston Hand Signed T40 $100 1862.
A lovely note on its own merits with good signatures, bold printing and bright paper. PCGS does note that there is some minor ink erosion and a couple of small paper scuffs at the bottom. While the John Boston circular stamp is somewhat more available, it is actually very unusual to find this note with his signature on the back. The second signature is of C.F. Stubbs, CSA Commissary Agent. It is unusual for a note to have two issuers. A note that should excite more than a couple of Confederate collectors. PCGS Apparent New 62.
