DescriptionHandwritten Jackson Issuance T40 $100 1862.
A boldly signed and bright example of this popular Train note. What makes this note so interesting is that there aren't any interest paid stamps. There is the handwritten comment "Issued Jackson Oct 22 1862." An intriguing note that should see some spirited bidding before the hammer falls. We recently sold an Apparent XF 40 of this same type but that one had an edge split and this one is problem free with Extremely fine eye appeal. PCGS Very Fine 35.
