DescriptionCT46/344B Counterfeit $10 1862.
A somewhat deceptive counterfeit that could have fooled any number of money handlers of the day, this example captured many of the small details of the original that was, in many respects, only slightly better done than the counterfeit. Very Good, with the corresponding small assortment of minor edge nicks, dings, and some light damp staining. Completely intact with no repairs. While we have offered a number of 344As over the years, this appears to be the first 344B that Tremmel lists as R-9 (3-4 known).
