"Reissued Houston, TX" T40 $100 1862 PF-1 Cr. 300 PMG Choice Fine 15.This appears to have spent most of its wartime days in Texas. The back has a large black IP stamp paying interest to January 1, 1863 that is usually associated with Texas as well as a second black stamp indicating that the note was subsequently re-issued from Houston on March 18, 1863. A final manuscript endorsement paid interest to January 1, 1864.
