Charming T15
T15 $50 1861 PF-1 Cr. 79.A much better Confederate number that had a limited print run at the beginning of the war. This charming example grades PMG Very Fine 25 Net, with CC. The Net grade is for cancellation repairs on the hammer-cut cancels. These two repairs were accomplished with two early stamp hinges. This did not harm the note in any way, and it certainly was a very acceptable practice during the infancy of collecting Confederate paper money. We have had only one other PMG VF 25 Net T15 come through our auctions. That previous piece had corner reconstruction and an internal repair, and it brought $3737.50 from a floor bidder at our Long Beach 2009 Auction.
