    T12 $5 1861 PF-1 Cr. 46.
Jules Manouvrier printed this $5 but never got another order from the Treasury because of careless shipping practices on his first order that compromised the security of the $10 companion denomination. The $10s were withdrawn and never issued, and Manouvrier's contract was cancelled. PMG grades this example Very Fine 20 Net, citing that it has been previously mounted (there are two stamp hinge remnants on the back), hole cancelled, and repaired. There is a large square of what appears to be newsprint on the back, and the large hole cancel seems to have a replacement that is the corresponding piece from another $5 note. Perhaps someone was using another Manouvrier note for parts?
