    Wonderfully Bright 1861 Type 11

    T11 $5 1861 Cr. 44 PMG Very Fine 30.
We have only offered one T11 in a higher grade than this third party graded VF 30 example. The higher graded note was a raw XF-AU that crossed our auction block in April, 2006. Our last offering of a Cr. 44 at this third party grade was a PCGS VF 30 with minor restorations for $4,230 in August, 2017. Tonight's example has a restoration which can only be seen when the note is back lit. Both notes in this comparison are also fully framed.
