    Description

Virginia September 1, 1775 20s Very Fine. Not much to look at compared to the note in the previous lot, but in actuality, still far nicer than these are generally found. The note has some splits, edge nicks, and the like, but no meaningful portions of the design are involved. The signatures remain strong, the ship vignette remains perfect, and both the handwritten and printed text are perfectly clear and legible.
