    Description

Virginia September 1, 1775 20s Extremely Fine. By far the finest example of a 20s James River Bank note that we have handled. It has none of the normal problems that one expects on these heavily used, thin paper issues. This note is totally free of any splits, tears, repairs or restorations. All the signatures are bold, as is every word of the printed and handwritten text. Virginia specialist and Colonial generalist will be equally excited to obtain at the opportunity to obtain this note in this grade.
