Attractive September 1, 1775 James River Bank Form
Virginia September 1, 1775 12 Pounds James River Bank Form Fr. VA-87. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent.The second series of James River Bank forms were emitted when the lack of a paper supply required the unused forms from 1773 to be put into service. Thus, the design and style was the same as for the 1773 notes. This is a bright note, well printed and margined. Though Apparent, the cited detriments are minor including "Small Edge Splits and Tears." Superior to most notes from this series and with the look of a higher grade example. An excellent type note representative.
