    Description

Virginia July 17, 1775 20s PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
Neither grading service has seen an Uncirculated example of this note. This piece is the highest grade at PMG and PCGS has graded a single 58. For the entire large issue, both services have graded a total of 5 Uncirculated notes. When we last sold this note in the quiet 2009 Colonial market, it realized $575. A number about double that would be realistic this evening for this beautifully printed, well-signed, fully margined EPQ example.
