    Description

    Trio of Revolutionary Era Virginia Notes - May 4, 1778 (Dates Printed) $15 PCGS Very Fine 35, October 5, 1778 $7 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35 & May 3, 1779 $3 PCGS Fine 15.
The May 1778 note is quite scarce and in excellent grade. We sold this very note in 2014 for $587. The October 5, 1778 $7 is the weak sister for rarity, but a nice-appearing note in spite of the laundry list of flaws assigned by PCGS. The May 1779 example has some problems, but is quite rare. It is from our recent Newman sale and still in the Newman-imprinted holder. It sold for $276.
    (Total: 3 notes)
