    Description

Virginia September 1, 1775 James River Bank Form £8 PMG Very Fine 25. This is likely one of the nicest examples we have seen in decades of dealing in colonial currency. An astounding example in terms of eye appeal as there isn't a problem to be found anywhere. This fact alone puts this in the condition census as practically all James River Bank Form notes have problems. The signatures are all bold without so much as a speck of ink erosion and the paper surfaces are perfect with a scattering of light folds. This ex: Ford note realized far too little money the last time it was sold and that scenario is unlikely to play out again.
