    Description

Virginia September 1, 1775 20s Very Fine-Extremely Fine. This James River Bank Form gives the appearance of a nearly XF problem-free example. The upper-left corner, however, has been skillfully restored, including almost the entire ship vignette. This will give some collector the opportunity of obtaining what would otherwise be a very expensive item for a small fraction of the normal price. The note gives the appearance of a $2000 piece.
