Virginia October 5, 1778 $15 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
A scarcer and more desirable issue with this being one of its nicer $15 notes. PMG has graded only three, all with flaws and all below the XF grade. PCGS has assigned the Apparent grade for a number of minor flaws, all of which are present, but none of which are severe. Printed on laid paper, this note is wonderfully signed by Woods and Wray. A well printed item with plenty of embossing. Both the technical grade and eye appeal of this note appear to be along the lines of an About Uncirculated example, but we will let the bidders decide.
