Virginia May 4, 1778 (Dates Printed) $1/3 PCGS Extremely Fine 45.
"There is only a single finer example at both services combined, an AU 50 at PCGS. This is by far the nicest of the three that we have sold. We sold a 40 Apparent in our 2014 Central States Auction for $528 and a PCGS 40 of a different denomination in our recent Newman Auction for $1175." This was our description when we offered this same note in our FUN sale earlier this year. It is still a great note and our opinion has not changed one iota.
