Virginia May 3, 1779 $50 PMG Fine 12 Net.This elusive note has the eye appeal of a nice VF, but net graded for the presence of a small amount of restoration done with tape. The signatures of Thomas Everard, Edward Archer, and H. Cocke are dark on this example that measures approximately 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. Newman values these at $500 in VG, $1500 in Fine, and $3000 in VF. Overall, a nice example that once resided in the Midnight Ride Collection.
